Code of Respect

Across IFSEC International, FIREX International, Safety & Health Expo and Facilities Show, we are dedicated to providing an inclusive, educational and positive atmosphere for all guests. As such, we ask that all visitors, exhibitors, sponsors, and speakers abide by our code of respect.

1. Harassment in any form will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to: offensive verbal or online comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size race, ethnicity, religion; stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact and/or unwelcome sexual attention.

2. Exhibitors, sponsors, and speakers should not use sexualised images, activities, or other such material on stands or in talks. Exhibitors and booth staff, including volunteers, should not use sexualised clothing or costumes, or otherwise, create a sexualised environment.

3. Any guest engaging in harassing behaviour will be dealt with immediately. The organisers may take any action deemed appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the venue with no refund of any applicable fees.

4. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns around inappropriate activity, please contact a member of staff. Staff can be identified by branded badges and will be happy to help guests contact hotel/venue security or police, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event.

As always, we look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a successful series of events in 2019 and hope that you support us in our efforts to provide a fantastic experience for all.
