Getting a great buzz around the stand makes exhibiting all the more rewarding. Those that do it best spend time planning in advance and inviting customers (and prospective customers) to visit them at the show. Sending emails is your best way to encourage this, but social media plays an increasingly important role here too.

Tweets, blogs, Facebook, Instagram and, of course, LinkedIn are great for letting your network know you'll be at the event. Feel free to make use of our downloadable banners for email signatures, newsletters and social posts. Always remember to include your Magic Link to help customers register in advance.

FIREX brings together the entire fire safety buying supply chain for three days of business and networking so it will provide a great platform for us to showcase our services to the entire market.

Planning your Stand

A couple of tips to finish with... Like any other business strategy, establishing specific, measurable goals is an important part of the exhibiting process. Consider what you aim to achieve, and that will help drive your entire show planning process. Here are a few ideas of what your key exhibiting objectives might be:

  • Launch or promote a new product or service
  • Highlight your competitive advantages
  • Increase brand awareness
  • Meet or entertain new and potential customers

Once your strategy is in place, that will make it far easier to get creative with your messaging and to put in place an effective campaign for attracting visitors to the stand.
