The Fire & Security Association (FSA)

The FSA operates as a specialist group within the ECA and in partnership with SELECT (The Scottish Electrical Contractors Association) offering national representation and the highest level of expertise for those who design, install, commission, maintain and monitor fire, emergency and security systems.

FSA membership is available to companies who have achieved the highest levels of certification in the Fire, Security or Monitoring centre fields - through 'approved' industry certification bodies or the FSA's own Certification Scheme.

The Fire Industry Association (FIA) is the largest fire protection trade association in the UK with 650+ members.  We are a not-for-profit organisation and a major provider of fire safety training.  Our objective is to promote, improve and perfect fire protection methods, devices, services and apparatus.  

The Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP)

The Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) was formed in 1975 in recognition of a need to bring together passive fire protection manufacturers, contractors and testing/certification bodies to encourage, develop and give guidance on essential standards in passive fire protection.

The Association reflects a diversity of expertise in the fields of fire stopping, fire resisting ducting, fire dampers, fire resisting partitions and all elements used for compartmentation.

BRE Global Ltd. (LPCB)

BRE Global Ltd, based in the UK near London, is an independent third party organisation offering certification of fire, security and sustainability products and services to an international market.

LPCB is the certification brand used for fire and security products and services. The LPCB mark is accepted worldwide and we have representative offices in China, India and Dubai (serving the Middle East region). We are now owned by the BRE Trust, a charitable foundation and not-for-profit organisation.

 

 

The Fire Protection Association

The Fire Protection Association infozone returns bigger than ever, featuring a packed programme of free seminars and surgeries addressing the industrys most topical issues including: fire risk assessment competency, prosecutions and enforcement, selection of firefighting systems, compartmentation and management of waste fires. Firmly established as a key feature at FIREX International, the infozone features seminars delivered by a mix of FPA experts and others equally renowned in their field.
